What Sports Equipment Does My Player Need?

QLL PROVIDES:
Team hats and shirts for all players
Team bats and batting helmets (limited supply of shared equipment)
Team set catcher's gear (limited supply of shared equipment)
Softball players face mask (limited supply of shared equipment)

PLAYERS MUST HAVE:
Baseball or softball glove

PLAYERS RECOMMENDED TO HAVE:
Batting Gloves
Baseball or softball pants with belt
Boys protective cup
Cleats (metal spikes are only allowed in Seniors division) 
Softball players face mask

PLAYERS MAY PROVIDE:
Own baseball or softball bat  that conforms to USA Baseball Guidelines
Own batting helmet (must be equipped with a properly installed c-flap)
Own catchers gear and other safety equipment such as leg and elbow guards, sliding mitt, mouth guards, etc.

Baseball and Softball Equipment is not available to purchase in Qatar but can be ordered online from the U.S.

Can my child try baseball or softball before we register for the season?

Qatar Little League offers a "Knock the Dust Off" camp which is a great opportunity to try baseball or softball. Camp starts on September 16, 2024.

Are camps optional? Can we just do a camp without registering for the season?
Camps are optional.
Players may choose to participate in camp only, full season only, or both!
Whatever you decide, we hope to see your player out on the field!
